Gillen Brewer staff represents a wide range of backgrounds. The school seeks educators who bring a wealth of professional experiences and who value a team-teaching approach to education and intervention. Gillen Brewer's head of School, Donna Kennedy, has been with the school since its inception. Administrators are chosen for their strong knowledge in their fields, as well as their commitment to the mission and vision of the school.

Head teachers have completed or are pursuing Masters Degrees and are certified in Early Childhood and/or Elementary Special Education. Assistant teachers and paraprofessionals are chosen both for their experience and desire to pursue advanced educational degrees. Our 5 Speech/Language Pathologists, 5 Occupational Therapists, 4 Psychologists and one Social Worker are licensed and certified by the State of New York in their specific disciplines. The arts department is comprised of individuals active in their respective fields including music, art therapy, yoga, creative movement and physical education. Additionally, Gillen Brewer is committed to employing a staff that reflects the diversity of our surrounding community.
