The Arts Department at the Gillen Brewer School grows out of the schools strong commitment to the role of the creative arts within the educational setting. In this vision, the Arts become an integral part of school life where they are valued for the personal and collective growth and achievement they can bring to children. In a fast-paced, highly complex world, the Arts are a means for children to understand themselves and give form and meaning to their experience. Here at Gillen Brewer, we aim to provide a safe and fun atmosphere where movement, music and art become a natural and valued part of the children’s lives. Places where they can explore their creativity, communicate nonverbally, and enjoy the richness of a curriculum provided by a dedicated team of professionals.
